I met Kenneth Thomas, a sculptor from Tennessee, at an artist residency. He was tired of his works being reduced to masculinity gestures and I was tired of my works being dismissed as feminist activism. We decided to collaborate to create the world's first "Clit Rodeo" an interactive, performative installation with an anatomically correct, ridable clit sculpture. The performance was curated for the Wassaic Art Festival. As co-hosts "The Clit Bandit" and "Clit Eastwood", we invited riders to compete. Riders were judged on their generosity, style and dexterity. The top riders competed in a battle royale. There were only two rules, respect the clit and have fun. The performance included the composition of a clit rodeo score by Soraya Arjan and a choreographed line dance by Dages Juvelier Keates which the audience learned over the course of the performance.
